Attica, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Rachel Andrews, 78, of 412 Cincinnati, Lafayette, a former Attica resident, died at 6:30 a. m. today (April 23, 1965) in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where she had been a patient since April 19. She had been ill five years. Born Aug. 16, 1886, in Winthrop, Ind., she was a daughter of Allen and Bell Smith Bell. She had resided in Lafayette since 1958. Surviving are a son, Joe Zimmerman; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Andrews was married Feb. 8, 1924, in Covington to Jess Andrews who preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1958. She was a member of the Nazarene Church and the Women of Moose Lodge of Attica. The body is at the DeSutter Funeral Home where friends will be received after 6 p. m. Saturday. Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home with burial in the West Point Cemetery.
